What is a Typical Day at Ready Set Learn?
8:30am
Students arrive at school
8:30am - 9:00am
Free play - the children can play until all of the children arrive at school
9:00am - 9:30am
Morning meeting - the children hear a daily message from the teacher as well as Gingerbread Boy (who helps facilitate questions and what we are learning). We also talk about the letter of the week, including what it looks like and what sound it makes. We talk about the calendar and what day it is, there is always a pattern and number associated with the calendar each month so we go over that. We sing the "days of the week" song and the "months of the year." We end each morning meeting with our "good morning song."

Choice Time - children use this time to play in an area of their choosing. They can play in the kitchen area, art, puzzles, play dough, sand table, train table, blocks, ect...
